During MODEX 2022, RIOS Intelligent Machines Inc. is presenting a seminar, “Getting Started with Robots as a Service: Robotic Workcells to immediately Increase Productivity and Supplement Labor.”
Mandy Dwight, vice president of business development, and Dr. Clinton Smith, co-founder and chief technology officer, will present RIOS's session on robotics-as-a-service (RaaS). Facilities and operations can gain insights on how to maximize profit streams with the RaaS model with no upfront costs or large, unforeseen maintenance fees.
RIOS also said that attendees can learn how robotic workcells as a service is transforming businesses every day and increasing productivity, despite limited labor resources.
Customers of all scale, especially small and mid-sized players, find RaaS makes innovative technology accessible. This is increasingly important in highly competitive industries and geographic regions where labor scarcity and availability are hindering production capacities. RIOS customers share they are now able to grow product lines by integrating our end-to-end AI-powered robotic workcells. Robotic workcells are offering a new business path forward.
RIOS is unique in that we provide customers production-grade machines that meet throughputs and KPIs, that are easy to use, that have practically zero downtime, and can be integrated into their existing workflows. We offer all this with blazing-speed delivery, faster than anyone in the world! We offer a “frictionless” customer experience, combined with RaaS, which eliminates the large capex purchase.
RIOS to show active workcell at MODEX
RIOS will unveil several new workcells in Booth C8290 in response to popular customer demand. On-floor demonstrations will showcase artificial intelligence-powered robotic workcells in active handling of goods with human-level dexterity at line speeds. Its digital twins are built on NVIDIA's recently updated Omniverse. The demonstration task performed by the robots is an integral part of operations within distribution centers of all scale, said RIOS.
RIOS will showcase active workcell deployments in supply chain and manufacturing environments. The company claimed that its end-to-end robotic workcells are currently deployed in the warehousing, fulfillment, food manufacturing and production, and end-of-line packaging sectors. RIOS workcells seamlessly integrate within existing workflows.
Dr. Bernard Casse, founder and CEO of RIOS:
There is a real need for automation in the consumer-packaged goods industry, as it is a high-growth and labor-scarce industry. Today, the last-mile, end-of-line packaging is only carried out by human operators. There’s no real complete solution in this industry, which is why RIOS AI-powered robotic workcells have quickly gained popularity
MODEX 2022 is taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center from March 28 to 31.
The supply chain trade show allows attendees to connect with more than 900 leading technology providers, such as RIOS, and see efficiency-enhancing and cost-cutting equipment and and systems in action.
