Joan-Wilhelm Schwarze,
Senior Global Innovation Manager, Center of Excellence Automation of Operations, DHL Group - Corporate Strategy
Joan-Wilhelm is a Senior Global Innovation Manager within the Center of Excellence Automation of Operations as part of the Corporate Development Department of DHL. His main duty is to support the DHL-divisions in the Americas region in regard to robotics and computer vision projects from the global, strategic standpoint. Starting his career in logistics as a Project Manager in warehousing after his Bachelor- and Master-studies in Germany and the United Kingdom, he quickly rose through the ranks to hold key positions including Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager in warehousing in DHL and other logistics companies. These roles allowed him to gain an understanding of the industry, from ground-level operations to high-level strategic planning, innovation and robotics.
Ernesto Camacho,
Senior Innovation Manager, DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation, Innovation and Trend Research
Ernesto Camacho is currently a Senior Innovation Manger with DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation. He is responsible for driving innovation projects and thought leadership in the Americas region. Before joining DHL, Ernesto worked at Oracle, where he focused on driving process improvement initiatives within healthcare IT operations. Ernesto is a military veteran and served as a Logistics Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Ernesto holds degrees from Georgetown University (BS, MS) and Cornell University (MBA), and he is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California (EdD). Ernesto enjoys sharing ideas and co-creating value with others in a meaningful way. He is a lifelong learner and lives with his wife in the Greater Chicago area.
