Bosch Rexroth AG said it plans to show its MP1000R mobile robot at the AMR and Logistics Week 2022 from Oct. 10 to 14 in Boston.
In Booth 1128, Bosch Rexroth said it plans to demonstrate its technical expertise and factory automation experience to autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). The Lohr am Main, Germany-based company, which has U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., provides industrial automation and assembly technologies.
Bosch Rexroth claimed that it “understands the intricacies of intralogistics processes” and that its AMR portfolio can help a manufacturer turn its facility into an automated “Factory of the Future.”
MP1000R to be at AMR and Logistics Week
The MP1000R has a 1,000 kg (2,204.6 lb.) payload capacity. Bosch Rexroth developed the AMR with Geekplus Technology Co.
The robot uses Bosch Rexroth's RoKIT Locator software to work in highly dynamic environments without human intervention, said the company. The CE- and ETL-certified robot also features hybrid navigation with simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and QR Codes.
In addition, the AMR includes safety features such as 360-degree obstacle detection, anti-collision bumpers, and emergency stop buttons in both the front and rear.
Rexroth said AMR experts will be at its AMR and Logistics Week booth to discuss visitors' unique applications. They can also explain how a robot fleet can improve the safety of their workers and help overcome operational challenges, said the company.
The Association for Advancing Automation (A3) is the organizer of AMR and Logistics Week, which is co-located with the Vision Show.
