Seegrid Corp. yesterday announced that it will showcase its newest autonomous lift truck, the Seegrid Palion Lift, for the first time at MODEX 2022. Attendees at the Atlanta event in March will be able to observe demonstrations of Seegrid Palion Lift working with other Seegrid IQ-powered vehicles, interact with Seegrid’s Fleet Central software suite, and meet with company experts.
Pittsburgh-based Seegrid said it combines autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), enterprise software, and services for connected materials handling automation. The company said its Palion AMRs have autonomously driven millions of production miles driven with no personnel safety incidents. Seegrid said the world’s largest manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics companies rely on its technologies in highly complex environments.
“Under intense pressure to move material more efficiently and safely with reduced labor, logistics, e-commerce, and manufacturing companies are looking for next-level automation—now,” stated David Griffin, chief sales officer at Seegrid. “We’re excited to debut our first lift truck AMR at MODEX and showcase how Seegrid empowers customers to address today’s complexities and gain a competitive edge.”
Palion Lift, robot perception, and fleet management
Seegrid plans to show its Palion Lift AMR and software from March 28 to 31, 2022, at the Georgia World Congress Center at MODEX, which claims to be the world's largest manufacturing and supply chain trade event.
The company said it will demonstrate its robots' ability to autonomously orchestrate material moves, pick and place at height, build and deplete pallet lanes, and conduct other hands-free workflows.
Interact Analysis recently named Seegrid the No. 1 AMR provider in the U.S. Seegrid recently added a robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) offering for its systems.
In addition, MODEX attendees can see firsthand how Seegrid IQ provides enhanced perception and humanlike awareness. The next-generation autonomy technology enables AMRs to reliably and safely transport goods across busy factories and dynamic warehouses, said the company.
Seegrid will also offer live demonstrations of its Fleet Central enterprise software suite. It will give booth visitors the opportunity to monitor AMRs with the Supervisor fleet management software and maximize productivity with data-driven insights from Fleet Geek analytics software.
Seegrid to discuss automation ROI at MODEX
Continuing on the theme of rapidly achieving results and return on investment (ROI) with mobile automation, Jeff Christensen, vice president of product at Seegrid, will present an educational seminar at MODEX 2022.
In “Predictability in an Unpredictable World: Low Risk, Flexible Automation Strategies to Create Value Today and Future-Proof Your Tomorrow,” attendees can learn strategies to quickly put mobile automation into action.
“Now more than ever, material handling automation solutions are a necessity for businesses across the supply chain to increase safety, overcome complex challenges, and continuously improve,” said Christensen. “Seegrid is deeply committed to delivering automation solutions aimed at optimizing operations and helping our customers achieve their goals.”
