Robotic inventory management provider Dexory recently announced its expansion into the North American market. The company provides inventory-checking autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) along with inventory management software, including AI-powered analysis system DexoryView.
Dexory said it is already working with global partners who have a significant U.S. presence, including DB Schenker, Menzies Aviation, Maersk, and ID Logistics.
To lead the expansion, Todd Boone has joined the team as head of its North American division.
As part of its North American expansion, Dexory will showcase its inventory-checking AMRs and AI-powered digital-twin technology at two upcoming trade shows: Manifest in Las Vegas February 5-7 at booth 1011, and at MODEX in Atlanta from March 11-14 at booth B708.
Todd Boone to lead Dexory in North America
Dexory has appointed Todd Boone as the head of North America at Dexory. Boone joined Dexory from Zebra Technologies, where he served as Director of product management in robotics and automation. With Zebra Technologies he held several leadership roles and worked closely with Fetch, an established autonomous mobile robot (AMR) provider in North America. Along with his experience in large organizations such as Motorola Solutions and Psion Teklogix, Boone has also acted as an independent advisor for technology companies, providing advice on go-to-market strategies.
“Having an industry veteran such as Todd Boone lead our expansion in the North American region is paramount to our success,” said Andrei Danescu, CEO and co-founder of Dexory. “Boone has in-depth knowledge of the landscape and the challenges our customers are facing. In addition to this, he is a proven leader and has a track record of delivering value to customers.”
“Many businesses across the globe are struggling with a visibility gap, where they do not have the necessary insight into their warehouse and supply chain operations,” said Boone. “The opportunity to lead Dexory’s expansion into the North American market comes at an exciting time for the industry. The technology is truly innovative and disruptive.”
Dexory fills inventory visibility gaps
The driving force behind Dexory’s expansion is the rapidly-evolving landscape of logistics and warehousing, the company said. The company’s technology provides real-time visibility and insights that minimize visibility gaps.
Dexory’s systems combine analytics with AMRs capable of capturing rich image and sensor data from across a warehouse. This combination provides visibility throughout warehouses, as well as connecting warehouses across the global supply chain through Dexory’s digital platform, DexoryView.
“Following successful customer deployments in Europe, we have seen an increased demand from the North American market,” said Danescu. “DexoryView allows businesses to gain rapid insights into their operations and make informed decisions that drive better efficiencies across their businesses.”
International contract logistics group ID Logistics recently deployed Dexory’s technologies at warehouses in France. Both companies collaborated to deploy ID Logistics’ ASTRID inventory-checking AMRs. The collaboration aims to increase warehouse operation accuracy and enhance overall efficiency to improve the service provided to their customers, Dexory said.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the evolution of inventory management and warehouse data acquisition,” said Beniot Boiron, group innovation manager at ID Logistics. “The precision and real-time monitoring capabilities have transformed our day-to-day operations, bringing accuracy to new heights.”
