Motion plastics component provider igus GmbH recently announced its participation in the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2024. The trade show will be held Sept. 9-14 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.
This year, igus will showcase its latest advancements at two booths, 236557 and 236230, which the company said will highlight its commitment to improving motion control and automating factories efficiently and cost-effectively.

Interactive VR system and all-plastic bicycle
Booth 236557 will be titled “Improve What Moves with enjoyneering.” At the booth, igus will focus on its diverse range of products driven by the new igusGO AI app, which was introduced at Hannover Messe this year.
Attendees will learn about the company’s new four-year warranty and benefits of reduced lubrication parts, which igus said will emphasize the reliability and reduced maintenance nature of its products. The booth will also feature new machines and technology, including the RCYL all-plastic bicycle with a VR system, providing an interactive experience for visitors.
Booth 236230 will be themed “Automate Your Factory for Less.” It will be center around low-cost automation and the company’s RBTX marketplace, showcasing products designed to help businesses automate their factories affordably. Visitors will be able to explore how igus is making automation accessible to companies of all sizes.
