Elite Robots to Showcase Newest Cobots at Automatica

Elite Robots will be at the Automatica trade show in Germany later this month. The collaborative robot maker plans to spotlight its two newest robots – the EC64-19 and the CS620.

The CS620 has a 20 kg (44 lb.) payload, 1800 mm (70 in.) radius, a 5a output source, and a max TCP of up to 3.9 m/s (8.7 mph). The Shanghai-based company said the robot is suitable for palletizing and welding applications.

Powered by the same 5A output source, CS625 features a maximum payload of 25 kg (55 lb.) and a radius of 1500 mm (59 in.), slightly sacrificing reach for greater robustness, accuracy, and strength, Elite Robots said.

Like all other models in the CS series, the CS620 and CS625 robotic arms feature an IP68 degree of protection and ISO Class 5 clean rooms, making them suitable for both harsh environments and those requiring a high level of hygiene.

Elite Robot highlights scanning technologies

Elite Robots will also showcase the EC64-19 robot, which has a reach of 1,900 mm (74 in.). Shining3D’s FreeScan device will be attached to it. The company said the robot is useful for accurate vision inspection and photography of products within a spherical space of 1.9 m (190 cm) without relying on external axes.

The Mantis Mini for fully automated 3D measurement and evaluation is another of the showcase highlights. Powered by the NEXOS AIR Software by 11-Dynamics, the solution integrates the CS66 Cobot from Elite Robots, and the Simscan from Scantech 3D, boasting an accuracy up to 0.015 mm (0.59 in.).

Lastly, the company will be showcasing its integrated offline CAM programming solution developed by Go2CAM. The company will be demoing the software with a Elite Robots CS66 cobot arm. The robot will be completing surface treatment tasks.

Automatia 2023 will take place from June 27 to June 30 at Messe München. Elite Robots will be at Booth 311 in Hall B4.
