Systems integrator Contextant recently announced a strategic partnership to resell software provider SVT Robotics’ SOFTBOT Platform. Contextant expects the collaboration will enhance its ability to deliver automation integration and enable it to address interoperability and multi-agent orchestration challenges.
Building on the tech-agnostic SOFTBOT Platform, Contextant said it will bridge implementation gaps by delivering both out-of-the-box and customized automation systems for customer-specific needs.
“We are excited to join forces with SVT Robotics and incorporate the SOFTBOT Platform into our automation offerings,” said Scott Winston, business development director at Contextant. “We can now give customers the ability to realize value even faster and continue to grow into their automation solutions.”
Contextant said the partnership leverages the strengths of both companies, combining its material handling and robotic systems integration knowledge with SVT Robotics' warehouse automation integration platform.
“By joining forces, Contextant extends the reach of our SOFTBOT Platform, helping businesses across various industries eliminate integration risks,” said Jay Blinderman, VP of sales and partner success at SVT Robotics. “This reduces the total cost of ownership for companies while maximizing the return on their automation investments.”
By reselling the SOFTBOT Platform, Contextant said its customers will now be able to build their automation roadmap independent of IT and host system constraints.
