Webinar: Automating truck loading and unloading

It’s no secret that trucks are hot, dirty and dangerous.

Goods around the world are largely transported between locations on heavy-payload trucks that require careful loading and unloading to maximize space and efficiency.

Technological advancements in the truck loading and unloading process are mitigating labor shortage concerns and keeping humans outside of severe temperatures and dangerous environments.

In this roundtable webinar, panelists will discuss box and pallet movements into and out of the warehouse.

Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2026
Time: 3:00 P.M. EDT/12:00 P.M. PDT

Questions to be addressed in the program include:

  • How are shipping organizations helping automation providers with their packaging and palletizing abilities?

  • What role have simulation and AI played in building trucks with pallets and boxes that are made for automation on the front and back ends?

  • Why is the loading dock often regarded as the last barrier for automation in the warehouse?
