French vacuum handling system components manufacturer COVAL SAS recently announced the latest addition to its range of multi-stage vacuum pumps, the CMS M series.
COVAL said its CMS M series has been designed and developed with two guiding objectives: compactness and performance. It has been designed for industrial applications which require high suction flow rates.
CMS M multi-stage mini vacuum pumps are the product of COVAL's research, seeking to provide a powerful, durable solution for grippers handling porous parts, emptying tanks, or random gripping in harsh industrial environments. A compact design and optimized multi-stage Venturi system can enable suction flows of up to 19.42 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) while reducing compressed air consumption in a compact footprint.
Modularity, optional blow-off control enable adaptability
One feature of the CMS M series is its modularity, which COVAL said enables it to adapt to a variety of applications and simplifies maintenance. The pumps are available in two suction capacities - 10.59 and 19.42 SCFM - with or without vacuum and blow-off control, and also offer two exhaust configurations, which the company said can allow the pumps to match each specific need.
COVAL said its multi-stage technology maximizes the energy input of compressed air by cascading several stages of Venturi profiles and combining their respective suction flows. Intermediate valves progressively isolate each stage to achieve maximum vacuum level. This technology makes it possible to generate high suction flow at low vacuum levels.
